During Nursing Week 11-18 May, the Campbellford Legion would like to recognize and thank all nurses — past and present — for their compassion, dedication, courage, and service.
We especially remember the military nurses who volunteered to serve Canadians during times of war in Europe and around the world. Many witnessed unimaginable hardship and sacrifice while providing comfort, care, and hope to those in need. Their service and devotion will never be forgotten.
We also proudly recognize the nursing staff currently serving with the Canadian Armed Forces, both here at home and while deployed abroad, continuing a proud tradition of service to Canada.
And to our local nurses serving right here in our communities — in hospitals, clinics, long-term care homes, emergency services, and community care — thank you for the compassion, professionalism, and dedication you show every single day.
Your vocation is one of service, humanity, and strength, and our community is better because of you.

🎯 A Grand Corn Hole Tournament 🎯

🕚 Registration at the Eleventh Hour
🕛 Play Commences at the Stroke of Noon
📜 Pray inscribe thy name upon the sign-up sheet within the clubroom
Come forth and test thy skill in friendly rivalry, amidst merriment and good cheer. Whether thou art a seasoned competitor or a curious novice, all are most welcome!
🌤️ This noble event shall proceed rain or shine, and, should the heavens be fair, will be held out of doors upon the grounds.
Pray gather thy companions and join us for a day of sport, laughter, and camaraderie befitting the occasion.

The Campbellford Legion Indoor Cornhole event scheduled for May 9th, 2026 has been cancelled.
However, the fun isn’t over! 🎯
