❤️ National Volunteer Week – Thank You! ❤️
At the Campbellford Legion, our volunteers are the heart and soul of everything we do. From supporting our Veterans, to organizing events, to creating a warm and welcoming space for our community — none of it would be possible without you.
Your time, dedication, and kindness are what make our Legion such a special place. Because of you, we don’t just have a building… we have a community.
👏 To all of our incredible volunteers — thank you. Your efforts do not go unnoticed, and we are truly grateful for everything you do.
💬 Want to get involved? We are always looking for more volunteers to join our team! Whether you have a little time or a lot, there’s a place for you here.
📍 Help us continue building the amazing community atmosphere we’re so proud of.
Stop by the Legion or reach out to learn how you can help!
Ontario Corps brings Ontarians together with a single, powerful mission: to unite our province in times of crisis and protect the people who call it home. Whether it’s a severe storm, flood, wildfire, or any other emergency, we’re building a province that’s prepared and resilient.
As an Ontario Corps volunteer, you play a critical role helping communities impacted by emergencies. Volunteers are contacted when needed to support emergency response efforts and will be assigned responsibilities based on their skill level, interest and availability.
Responsibilities may include:
cleaning up debris
transporting equipment
welcoming people to emergency shelters
doing wellness checks
stocking emergency supplies
providing food services

You probably know The Royal Canadian Legion as an organization that supports Canada’s Veterans and honours their sacrifice. You may have seen us hosting your hometown’s Remembrance Day ceremony or distributing Poppies during our annual Poppy Campaign. Perhaps you heard or read stories about the Legion supporting local Veterans and their families.
What you might not realize is that we do so much more, and once you learn more about us, you may find you have a much stronger connection to the Legion than you might have thought!
Branches are almost entirely run by volunteers, and Legion members are the lifeblood of the organization. From service to the country to service to the community, Legion members impact the lives of their fellow citizens, in particular Veterans, seniors and youth.
